I can't wait until I can move back to Charlotte, where people actually live in the real world. This county is chock full of morons, who, when you try and show them the light, they turn into children and show you why you're right about this place being full of bozos. If it wasn't for RCR, I would see nothing that would keep anyone here. No wonder there are really no new businesses coming here. The education level of this county SUCKS, there is no real industry, except for food service, and not really furniture anymore.
At least Charlotte has professional sports, Nascar, smart people (but I'm not surprised since its the 2nd largest financial center in the nation behind Wall Street) and a lot of fun things to do.

Some people!
Why is it that every time I try and inject a little common sense into some people they think I'm a know it all?? Does being smart make you one? As if that wasn't bad enough, they think that anyone who soundly defeats them to the point of they admit defeat, is deluding themselves when they know they are better and confronting some people with the facts makes them clam up and admit defeat. Of course I am usually the winner of these debates, because I have the facts on my side. Some people don't want to listen to the facts, which results in their admission of defeat. I love winning!

Weird trends
Ok so I was in the car dealership this morning waiting for my car to have its oil changed, and was flipping through last month's issue of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, looking for decorating ideas. Well I saw one that I instantly liked. The woodwork in this entryway was painted black, and the door itself was white but the raised parts in the middle were black. This looked really neat, and it said it was for any style, classic or modern. Made me realize we completely screwed up when we repainted the woodwork solid white!! Oh well, when I get my room redone this summer I just might incorporate that look on the windows, closet, built in shelves, and baseboard. I love that "outline" look! Maybe now I can find the right color for the walls to tie it all in. Gonna be hard with white, black, and navy, and red is out of the question! Yellow, possibly, but I'm not sure. Pink, maybe, but maybe not as I detest that color! Maybe I will just stick with white. Or I have another idea, maybe I could do that outline look in navy, to match the carpet. There's an idea! I think it would look really amazing, since the contemporary look seems to be a sort of "outline" around woodwork. I like that.

Stupid gel-clings!
These things are so annoying! They bleed against each other, and not only that, but the ones that bleed ruin the other gel clings. Maybe I should stick to static clings, because then I can just keep them in photo albums, and not only that, but they don't bleed!! They are pretty too. I like the idea of just throwing out the gel clings, but at the same time, I like the way they reflect against the shower in the light! Tough decisions! Oh well. I'll make one eventually. I'm leaning towards just throwing out the gel things, mainly because they are a pain to put up and take down every holiday. With statics I can just put up my favorites, or all of them if I want to.
